Sycuan Casino was opened in 1983 by the Sycuan Tribe as an Indian bingo hall. Business was profitable and the bingo hall was expanded in 1990 to 1,500-seat bingo parlor in a 68,000 square-foot building. It included 35 poker tables and 20 seats for off-track betting. To attract more customers the Sycuan Tribe purchased Singing Hills in 2001. Sycuan Casino Resort began as a humble Bingo Palace in 1983. Now more than 36 years later, it has become a community landmark and one of San Source: Bingo News.
